1. What is Mor-Meds™?
Mor-Meds is an automatic prescription refill request application for Smartphones. Patients whose health-care service provider supports Mor-Meds, can use this application to request their prescription refills conveniently from their Smartphones.
2. What smartphones does Mor-Meds currently support?
Mor-Meds is currently available for iOS based devices (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad), Android and BlackBerry smartphones. Following OS versions are supported for each of the smartphones.
Android: OS versions 2.0.1 and above
BlackBerry: OS versions 4.5.0 and above
iOS: OS versions 3.2.2 and above
3. Who benefits from Mor-Meds?
Both patients and health-care service providers will benefit from Mor-Meds. The patients can conveniently save all their prescription information on their smartphones using the application and send it to the hospital with just the click of a button whenever they need to request a refill. The provider receives all the required information electronically increasing the effecieny and productivity of the provider's resources.
4. How to obtain Mor-Meds?
Mor-Meds can be downloaded from different locations depndending on the smartphone. Mor-Meds for BlackBerry can be downloaded directly from our website. Please use the download link from the left menu to request Mor-Meds download link for BlackBerry. Mor-Meds for Android can also be obtained in this manner but we recommend you download it from the Android Market. Mor-Meds for iOS is available on the Apple App Store. You can search for Mor-Meds or look under the "Medical" category on both Android Market and App Store.
5. How does Mor-Meds work?
The patient can save all the necessary prescription information in Mor-Meds and just hit "Send" whenever a refill is to be requested. All the information is transmitted electronically to the corresponding provider. Its that simple, both for the patients and the providers.
